Yes I am pretty confident that your surroundings have a huge impact on athletic performance but in so many different ways. For example, if you have parents who are supportive of you training and diet then this will help. If you happen to live at altitude, your body makes some adjustments to cope and these may effect your performance. If you want to be a sailor and you don’t live near the sea that could be an issue. Living in a city might effect performance as there is some research looki g at the negative effect of for example desiel particles. Depending on where you live you might not have access to proper training facilities etc. there are just so many thing that can effect performance. Can you think of any factors that may effect performance??
