0 Question: how many bones do we have in our body? Keywords: bone, human body Asked by rubyahmed98 to Gavin on 20 Mar 2012.
Gavin Devereux answered on 20 Mar 2012:
Hello.
The average number is 206. There can be slight differences. For example, some people (around 1 in 20) have an extra rib.
Your bones (again on average) make up about 20% of your total body mass. And, they’re a living tissue, and so need constant maintenance and repair.
