• Question: In millions of years could humans grow gills?

      For us to evolve gills we would need a reason for using them. Gills are used under water for fish to be able to breath. As we moved onto land we evolved lungs so that we can breath oxygen from the air. So as long as we stay on land then we won’t grow gills.

      But if we had to start living in water again, then in millions of years humans may evolve gills again so that we could survive.
