      Hello.

      Because our organs perform so many complex tasks (and different organs perform different tasks), it’d be a very long answer – and I’m certainly no expert on every organ on our body, that’s for sure :-).

      What does happen in general around the body, is that all of the chemical reactions that naturally happen tend to slow down if you cool their environment. This can have very important effects on a number of body systems.
