• Question: Why do you get a stitch when you drink before playing?

      It can be due to what you drink and when It is common that if you drink a very sugary or gassy drink close to starting exercise that your gut can’t deal with absorbing the liquid and sugar. Although there is no one firm reason for causes of stitch, in my experience this is one of the most common causes.

      Arrr, good one Steve, I answered a question similar to this the other day and I didn’t think there was a know cause for a stich but I just thought I might not have known. You have reassured me.
