• Question: Would a larger person need a longer needle when having an injection ?

      It depends on what you are trying to inject. If you want to get to the muscle tissue which is below the fat, then yes you would need a longer needle depending on how much fat that person has.

      A lot of anesthetics can be inject just into the fat tissue underneath the skin so a longer needle won’t be needed for that.

      If you are thinking of a school injection it will probably. These injections normally just go under the skin so they will be the same size
