ummmm, no I dont think so. I dont think they have a liver or lungs?? they do have many of the other organs but they are different like the heart of an Ant is not a four chamber organ.
Nope insects have a very different biological system than us.
They do have very very tiny brains known as ganglions which are made up of nerve cells, there usually have one in their head (some insects have 2). They don’t have lungs, instead they swap air by small tubes around their abdomen, these just work on air pressure and concentration of carbon dioxide.
They have a sort of heart, that moves blood round, but it does not have 4 chambers, only 1 chamber if I recall correctly.
Basically they are very different, but they have similar requirements, such as oxygen and food so they will have something inside them to cope with these things.
P.S I studied some animal biology at university and so got to dissect at look at insects – that’s how I remembered some of this stuff 😛
