Question: Do you believe testing on animals?

No, I don’t believe its right to test on animals for things like make up and beauty products as I don’t see how that is helping other people. As long as the tests are for medical reasons and it is helping us discover ways to make humans live longer and have better lives then I think it is okay.

Whenever i use an animal I make sure that as much as possible is taken and used for research so it is not a waste. For example I would take the heart, other people in my lab would use the liver and kidneys, someone from another lab would take some muscle from the legs. I’ve even had someone want the poo from the intestines!!

I work on rats for my research but I don’t think I could work on anything like cats or dogs as I want to have a dog as a pet in the future and I could never kill something that I think is cute.
