      The short answer is no. Now for the long answer.
      The lungs of the fetus in the womb is filled with liquid, which is important for the lungs to develop properly. This liquid comes from the lungs itself and flows out into the womb. Near birth the chest muscles contract and relax and these fetal breathing movements are thought to be part of the preparation for birth.
