      You can place too much stress and strain on both your bones and muscles (all the way up to the pelvis certainly). Eventually, you can cause some serious issues with joint health.

      From a pure performance aspect, you may be quite inefficient in your sporting movements if your footwear is not adequately designed. If, for example, you need to apply lots of force in a particular direction, and your footwear isn’t capable of withstanding those forces, your movment will likely be less controlled and not as powerful.
