I use to wonder the same thing when I was younger! I always found the time in class just before morning break or lunch break use to pass so slowly!

This is because your view of time is subjective. What I mean by this, is that you feel time differently depending on what you’re doing.

Have you ever waited for a lesson to be over? You will keep checking the clock every minute and it would seem to go really slowly because you want the lesson to be over. So during your lesson you are more aware of the time as it passes by – this is what makes it seem slow.

But if you’re having fun playing sports/game you never look at the time and so you’re not aware of it passing by.

If you wanted to, you could look at the time every minute while you were playing a game, but then you probably wouldn’t be having much fun and so time would pass very slowly!
