• Question: If you had lots of money what would you investigate?

      I would keep investigating how the brain copes under different stressful conditions. But with lots of money, I could just pay for very expensive magnetic ressonance imaging scans withouht having to apply for lots of grants. Which would make it easier.

      I would love to investigate how the brain and emotions control the body. This would be my pet side project while I still do my work on the lungs.

      I’d love to try develop a drug that would help the heart beat better and stay healthy for longer. I’d also want to use a better animal model such as pigs (as their hearts are very similar to ours) but this would cost a lot of money!
