• Question: is there any proof of human cloning done by scientists and would there be a such thing that i could clone my child to look like me?

So far we’ve only been able to clone sheep which is the closest to a human in terms of biology. We have cloned other animals but they are not as similar.

The next step would be to try clone a primate such as a monkey. The problems we have right now with cloning, is that the genes you take from the animal you want to clone, will grow up at that age.

For example if you take genes from a human that is aged 12 (A) and use that to clone another person. That clone baby born (B) would be identical to A meaning that baby would look 1 years old, but their genetics would mean they would be 12 years old.

That is why with dolly the sheep, she died very soon after because her genetics were old even though she was just born.

why carn’t you just take the genes from baby sheep or the embryo? the baby/sheep B would still be a baby. it will be so great when we can create a clone. I will also create a little mini me, but they will be an awesome athelete.
