      Thats an easy one! Its the region of the heart I’m studying – the sino atrial node!

      The best bit of the heart is the part that makes the whole heart beat. Without this tiny piece of tissue your heart would be useless.

      This region of tissue is called the sino-atrial node and it releases an electrical impulse multiple times a second to allow your heart to beat.

      When people have heart attacks or cardiac arrests the main reason this happens is usually because there is a problem in the sino-atrial node and it can no longer send out electrical signals. So your heart stops beating and if medical people cant get it started again you die very soon after.
