This is a difficult question to answer, as there are few organs we can’t live without. Our largest organ, the skin, provides an essential barrier to infection and water lost. The brain controls everything pretty much, the lungs supply oxygen to all the organs, the kidney gets rid of waste and regulates our internal water content. If we didn’t have any of these or the other I haven’t mentioned we’d die. So there isn’t one important organ, in my view.
